It's Friday Day 5 in Anaheim

OK another quick update - what have we been doing the last couple of days? Well they have been long - most nights not getting in till about 10.30pm and up early each day to go back to Disneyland!! Can you ever get Disneyed out? I don't think so!! Between Disneyland and California Adventure we are having a great time. Yesterday we spent most of the Day at California Adventure - Oh wow we went on the Hollywood Tower ride, the California Screamer and many others, but those 2 were the most fun - Hollywood Tower similar to the Giant Drop in Dreamworld, but much better and the California Screamer a Roller Coaster - the best you'll ever go on!! Lots of laughs and fun was had by all. Ballerina has another dance today, but alas it is raining, so the show may be cancelled - fingers crossed the rain stops for 1/2 hour or so. Anyway the photos below should show how much fun we are having!!

We are in Disneyland!!

Just a quick update. Yes we are finally here. 18 months in the making and we are already at Day 3 of our trip.

We arrived Monday at 7.15am - very tired, but we kept going all day till about 11pm.

No we didn't do Disney that day, we went to a dance shop to buy dance shoes (what else would we do) and we went to Walmart!!

Tuesday we spent all day at Disneyland and yes it is the happiest place on Earth. We had a great day. Then when Disneyland closed at 6pm we went straight on over to California Advenure - and I sat and drank hot chocolate with one of the other mums while the kids and dads went on the rides.

Wednesday - the girls had their first show at Disneyland and they were fantastic. We had a quieter day - only went on the Snow White 'scary' ride. But tonight we went to an Ice Hockey game - Anaheim Ducks v Buffalo Sabres. How do you explain a game that you don't understand, but we cheered when everyone else cheered, we clapped when everyone else clapped and we cheered and clapped when the fights were on - yes we understood the fights. The Ducks won and it was a great night.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......

Our Dance School had their Christmas Party yesterday. Gee did we have fun - laugh, laugh and laugh. Limbo, chicken dance, musical chairs - all the great party games were played!!! And of course we had the obligatory Santa visit - looking different every time!

5, 6, 7, 8 Dance Concert!!

Last night we celebrated the end of a fantastic dancing year with our annual concert. As most of you would know our Ballerina is a dancer and she starred last night!! Ballerina not only does ballet, she also does jazz, tap, hip hop, irish, performance group (going to Disneyland in 3 weeks!) - oh and singing and drama!! Last night she starred in no less than 18 dances/singing/drama and she smiled the whole night through!! We are so proud of her! Of course a very small number of you may know that I have been dancing this year with the ladies group - and what a great time I have had - Tuesday nights (our dance night)are great nights - never laughed so much!!
