The bid shoes are awesome, but I love your shoe line up at the front door!
Oh yeah. Shoes off first is a rule here too - only people are too lazy to implement it! And then we have the dogs - they can't take their "shoes" off when they wonder in, can they? So it's dirt, dust, sand - and anything to that direction - all over our floors. Sigh.
Well, happy hunting anyway :) Loved your big shoes! They made me glad that I have average-sized feet :D

After 5 years in Germany we have adapted to the "leaving the shoes at the door" mentality too. We never go further than the shoe rack with our shoes on. It keeps the house nice and clean :)
Cool flip flops! Is that one of those things where different groups design and paint something and then it's auctioned off? Around here they paint fiberglass cow statues. :)
