Photo Hunters #11 - Water
Somewhere in the Pacific Ocean on our last cruise.
For me there is nothing more peaceful than being at sea and seeing nothing but WATER for miles and miles. I love the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere without a care in the world.
Happy Weekend to you all!!

Visiting Family
I haven't done too much blogging this week as my brother, his wife and 2 little princesses visited us for the week. We had a wonderful time doing the touristy thing with them. We laughed, cried (from laughter), remembered our younger days and enjoyed each others company immensely. But alas they had to return home this morning and had an early flight to back to Adelaide. Our home will be a little quieter now, but I have the memories and photos of a wonderful week.

More house updates
Another update on our house. It is coming along quite nicely. The kitchen is looking like a kitchen, the bathrooms are happening and the render is going on:
The first touches of render have gone on - the colour will come later.
The kitchen is coming along.
Our ensuite is looking good - note the space for the spa bath on the right - can't wait.
Enjoy your week.

Putting Names to faces
Well I thought it was time to introduce ourselves. I had been reluctant to put up photos of us all on my blog. Not sure why - but have decided it's time to show the world who we are. So you will notice from time to time photos in my side bar and in our postings of our wonderful family. Of course the photo above is of myself Incog and my wonderful husband of almost 21 years Nito.
Have a happy week.

Photo Hunters #8 - Architecture
The tall building below is the Q1 located here on the Gold Coast. It is the tallest residential building in the world. Standing approximately 322.5 metres high, with 80 floors. There is an observation deck on level 77, I'm told the view is superb, on a clear day you can see for about 80km. Certainly a modern day landmark and design.
Enjoy your weekend.

A tribute to our Pa
A sad day for us today - our Pa passed away.
Great people don't die - they live on in our memories.
Pa I am a better person for having had you in my life. You have been a part of my life since I can remember and you quickly made me a part of yours. For that I am forever grateful.
You always made me laugh and filled my heart with joy.
I remember your laughter and jokes.
I remember your love for music.
I remember your love for motorbikes and cars.
I remember your integrity and your pride.
I remember your practical jokes.
I remember that you didn't mind a beer on a Saturday afternoon.
I remember you for the great man you are and the times we shared.
You are forever in my heart and memories.
One day we will all be together again. Save a spot for me!
I love you forever Pa

Photo Hunters #7 - Salty
Salty is todays theme. There are probably lots of things I could have used, but when I mentioned to Nito that todays theme was salty he said "my sweat after a hard days work". Eeewwwwww! But here is a photo of his 'salty' work cap - he tells me the white is the salt after the sweat has dried - Eeeewwwwwww again!
Who would've thought salty could be so gross!!
Happy Weekend.

Monthly Swap
I have been participating in a monthly swap hosted by Kay over at Simple Pleasures.
Januarys swap was food related - Kay and I were swap partners and this is what I received from Kay:
Recipe books and lovely writing paper - it was fantastic to receive. And yes we have been cooking recipes from the books and they have all been yummy. Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of what I sent Kay, but my package consisted of a recipe calendar, a magnet relating to chocolate, a couple of tea towels with herbs on them, a placemat with fruit all over it and a grocery shop brochure from our local supermarket.
Februarys swap was accessories and today I received my package from Zha, check out her site Inside my World it's great. Now check out my gifts:
lovely necklaces and earrings packaged up in beautiful littel bags. I couldn't wait to get home and open it up.
I sent a package to Leira over at Mushings. I remembered to take a photo and I know Leira has received her package so here are some photos of accessories I sent to Leira:
I hope she liked the headband, necklace and bracelets.
March is a post card swap from your local area. Why not pop on over and join in. It's lots of fun and a great way to meet new people from all over the world.
Have a great weekend.
