Photo Hunters #8 - Architecture

The tall building below is the Q1 located here on the Gold Coast. It is the tallest residential building in the world. Standing approximately 322.5 metres high, with 80 floors. There is an observation deck on level 77, I'm told the view is superb, on a clear day you can see for about 80km. Certainly a modern day landmark and design.

Enjoy your weekend.

Such tall structures. Just like to admire them but not to live in them.
Mine is up too.

Great photos! We had the same take on this week's theme. It's up in my site :)

There is a 60-story residential tower being put up near where I live, but I guess it won't be enough to break your tower's record!

Have a great weekend.

Wow! That would be a very, very high place to live. I wonder if the building that tall ever feels like it is swaying just a little or what the wind sounds like that high...
very modern and I would love to see what the penthouse looks like inside.

That's an amazing building but I would have to pass when it came to living in it - I have a big fear of heights!

Very cool building! I am sure I would not want to live in the tallest residential buliding. whew! I need my yard. :-) Cool photos!!

It must be scary to live up top there since they build them so that they "give" with the wind. I like its nearly cylindrical design.
